God is THE source of everything; God gives meaning to ever),-
thing. We are spiritually blind unless we sense our hopeless-
ness and surrender entirely to the fact of His sovereignty--God
is ruler over all. Our friends at International Cooperating Minis
tries (ICM), express this spiritual reality in a simple "formula~
Jesus Christ + anything = nothing;
Jesus Christ + nothing = everything.
Similarly stated:
Jesus + anything else = spiritual blindness;
Jesus + nothing else = 20/20 spiritual vision.
Until we understand that it is in our hopelessness that we find
God, and in our weakness that we draw near to Him, and until
we refuse to trust ourselves, we will remain spiritually btind. In
that blindness we are unable to receive God s divine life, and we
