This is the true story of the first woman to suc-
cessfully sue her psychiatrist for using sex in
the guise of therapy.
After Julie Roy s marriage was shattered,
she got involved in a lesbian experience that
added to her troubles. Julie, in despair, turned
for help to Dr. Renatus Hartogs. As part of her
therapy, the 60-year-old doctor induced the
31-year-old woman to enter into a strange
sexual relationship with him. For a time Julie
seemed to mend; then, abruptly, the doctor
