Every person who has any type of allergy--mild or de-

bilitating-should read this book. Every practising physi-

cian should have this book in his private library. He should

read it with an open mind and be willing to give his pa-

tients the benefit of his unbiased opinion after a diagnosis

of adrenal cortical insufficiency has been established by

laboratory findings or by clinical observance. Hypogly-

cemia (low blood sugar) is nearly always present. Clinical

manifestations, such as exhaustion, gastro-intestinal com-

plaints, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, food phobias, etc.

usually accompany these deficiencies.

The world stands on the threshold of the new knowl-

edge of applied nutrition and greater knowledge of other

deficiencies and imbalances. Judge Blaine has emphasized

the constitutional approach to allergy--an approach

which most physicians, esspecially the allergists, have

failed even to recognize as a possible therapeutic tool in

the management of allergy.
