From Library Journal In On My Honor， I Will ， Pennington and Bockmon choose the Boy Scout Oath as a model for ethical business behavior. They base each chapter on one of the scout tenets: "To Do My Best，" "To Do My Duty，" "To God and My Country." Chapter discussions are anecdotal， each ending with oversimplified guidelines for ethical behavior (e.g.， stand by your beliefs or associate with people of integrity) and a hokey exercise such as listing your favorite ethical heroes. The authors encourage the reader to write down "things I will do to honor my commitment to keep the scout law."
