Prologue This book is a story of a nation that came apart at the seams-and got back together again.* It s a thundering story of kings and prophets and wars and spies and ambush and trickery-of bravery and cowardice-of shining hones- ty and outrageous mischief-and a few things more. But it s really a story about people. They lived at dif- ferent times and in different places but they all had one thing in common. They came face to face with something God wanted them to do. And they had to choose whether or not to do it. Some of them chose to do it and some of them ran in the other di- rection. And so each one plotted his own story by the choice he made. Jonah was one of them and the name of that chapter is "Which Way to Nineveh?" Which is another way of saying %Vhich way is God s will for my life?" It s a good question. And you can plot the story of your life by the way you answer it. eHave you read the first part of this story? You can find it in the book "The Strangest Thing Happened " published by Regal Books a division of Gospel Light Publications Look in your book- store.

Just wait until you read those conversations between you and your conscience. They're right
