About This Book<br > This book is organized into five sections. In the first<br > four sections， we are going to explain computer sys-<br > tems to you. Notice that we used the phrase computer<br > system instead of just computer. That s because any<br >useful computer setup consists of more than just the<br >basic computer. It takes many accessories to make the<br >whole thing work， and we re going to tell you all about<br >those， too. Our explanations will be given with an eye<br >towards your actual purchase of a computer system.<br >At the end of the first four sections， we will recap what<br >you ve learned and give you some pointers on what to<br >do when you walk into that computer store to buy a<br >computer.<br > The last section of this book is a glossary that con-<br >tains definitions of words and phrases that will be in-<br >troduced in the rest of the book. That is not to say<br >that we won t explain these new terms as we introduce<br >them， but the glossary will serve as a handy reference<br >in case you forget what something means.
