评分大二的時候曾在係圖書館裏讀過，語言簡單，易懂，Van Loon非常擅長講故事！
评分讀瞭一年半，猶太人的血淚史，中間很多次因敘述無趣想捨棄。房龍說，若這本小書能激起讀者對原文的興趣，便是不枉的。這樣算來，這也算得上是一本好書。
