科马克·麦卡锡Cormac McCarthy（1933— ），美国作家、剧作家。生于美国罗得岛州。一九三七年随家迁至田纳西州诺克斯维尔。一九五一至一九五二年于田纳西大学主修文科。一九五三年，加入美国空军，服役四年。一九五七年重返田纳西大学，期间在学生报纸上发表了两篇短篇小说。一九六一年，麦卡锡举家迁移至芝加哥，在那里写下了他的第一部小说《果园守门人》。科马克·麦卡锡迄今共写有十多部作品。“边境三部曲”中的《骏马》曾获一九九二年美国国家图书奖和美国评论界图书奖。二○○六年《纽约时报》评选“过去二十五年出版的美国最佳小说”，麦卡锡一九八五年出版的作品《血色子午线》名列第二，此书也被誉为二十世纪最出色的百部英文小说之一。二○○七年，他凭借小说《路》获普利策小说奖。
