Hello! I'm a children's writer. My books have won some nice awards, including the Royal Society Young People's Book Prize, and my debut novel WILD BOY was named one of the five best of the year in the prestigious Branford Boase Award. I've also written picture books, fairy tales, books about history and books with flaps. Lots of flaps.

My latest novel - JAKE ATLAS AND THE TOMB OF THE EMERALD SNAKE - is out now. My mum likes it, so you might too. Wild Boy is ideal for class topics on the Victorian world, and Jake Atlas is perfect for anyone interested in Ancient Egypt. They're also great stories! I think.
