三星半.1960年作品.因為某個不可廣傳的原因，作麯傢兼風流浪子Brillhart被認定死亡.但令人不解的是，不斷的有人說看到瞭他、與其通話、與其共餐、與其約會等等等等-難道人，真的能夠死而復生嗎? 有的老外將本作列為密室作品，實在無法理喻.這本書涉及的不是不可能犯罪，而是不可能現象.不過這個全書最大的謎團其實在不到一半的章節時就做瞭解答，而且公平的說這個解答不是特彆差，但問題是，後麵一半篇幅還能做什麼文章？全書充滿美式風格，節奏淩厲，觀感嗨爽, 但最大的噱頭揭曉之後剩下的隻有失望-即使作者把另一個懸念保持到瞭最後.不是很推薦閱讀.
