Villa del Carmen, Jujuy, 1977. Many have left to try their luck in the city, leaving a town full of women, Marita among them. She is approached by a man looking for information on Matilde Trigo, girlfriend to an alleged rebel, and tries to coax her to reveal the correspondence the two women maintained. Marita decides to stand ground and protect Matilde and her dignity. How far will a man go in his search? How far can Marita protect her privacy? What memories, buried episodes, and lost places will fight to come into our protagonist's awareness?
