作者简介

派翠西亚・康薇尔于1956年出生在美国佛罗里达州的迈阿密，是美国当红的犯罪小说大师。她的职业生涯从主跑社会新闻的记者开始，1984年她在弗吉尼亚洲的法医部门工作。1984年至1986年间，康薇尔根据自身的法医工作经验写下了3本小说，并且一炮而红，先后获得过有伦玻奖、克雷西奖、安东尼奖及法国的Prix du Roman d'Aventure奖。此后，康薇尔以女法医为背景陆续写了9本书，这些作品不仅是畅销排行榜上的常客，也被翻译成多种语言。

读后感

最近在看开膛手杰克的结案报告， 那作者认为开膛手杰克是著名画家华特 席格， 从他的祖母级一直分析到他的兄弟姐妹， 从他的生理缺陷分析到他的三次婚姻（这是有联系的~）， 还有他的生活习惯，甚至还涉及他常用的水印信纸…… 他让我想到汉尼拨， 一样精明，一样天赋异...  

关于开膛手Jack的电影，电视和书籍真的很多。对开膛手Jack最初的认知是从discovery,后来在柯南剧场版中的“贝克街的亡魂”，再后来的电影“From the hell”.偶然在图书馆翻到这本书，从不同的角度带你探求真相，还不错。 大概是巧合吧，才发现我已经读过这个作者好几部作品了...  

此书最吸引之处，在于语言的严密逻辑性。书中很少有肯定的断言，作者从来不愿给读者一个已成的定义让你去接受——事实上，我讨厌这样的作者，我更喜欢一本书可以引发读者更多的想象而非只是告诉他一个故事或道理。 作者习惯将种种可能罗列在前，然后抽丝剥茧，排除所有不可能...  

一开始觉得杰克好可怕啊，好坏阿，但是看完这书觉得其实他只是偏执，首先杀人警方根本不想管，第二从某种角度来说太才真正关注着丑女，虽然是扼杀吧。感觉他悲惨的童年阿。还有一个疑问就是他性功能不行就可以有这么大冤念？那太监是不是心里承受能力太强了？
