評分讀的第一本40k係列小說，硬，畫麵感十足，簡直能腦補電影。龐大的世界和非凡的時間跨度營造齣史詩感的背景，渺小的視角又帶來那種被碾壓的宿命意味。戰爭場麵和宇宙寫的壯觀而富有魅力，可惜陰謀和密謀這方麵不夠完善..上校和開頭的角色那邊基本沒用到。在日後的觀點來看這一切都像是“醜角”一樣，荷魯斯會反叛，被帝皇殺死，混沌混入人心......
