Born in the 1950s in Madagascar, John Fung moved to Macau with his family at the age of 13. A few years later, he moved to Hong Kong where he has worked in various different disciplines in odd jobs, such as starring in a film, working at construction sites, opening restaurants and making lamps, but all along, he has never put down his camera. Over the past decade, he has photographed for several magazines and for non-profit organizations.
