His nonfiction works include TheSea Hunters and The Sea Hunters II; these describe the trueadventures of the real NUMA~, wh!ch, led by Cussler, searchesfor ships of historic significance, With his crew of volunteers,Cussler has discovered more than sixty famous ships, includingthe long-lost Confederate submarine Hunley.
