泰德•威廉姆斯（Tad Williams）

世界著名科奇幻作傢，1957年3月生於美國加利福尼亞州。

他的作品在全球範圍內暢銷百萬冊。主要代錶作品為史詩奇幻、史詩科幻、都會奇幻小說，以及漫畫和劇本等。泰德·威廉姆斯的作品影響瞭一代作傢的創作。比如著名奇幻小說作傢喬治•R.R.馬丁就對泰德贊不絕口，錶示正是讀瞭他的書，纔悟齣奇幻文學的創作可以有如此多的可能性，他的代錶作《冰與火之歌》在故事構架和敘述手法上延承其甚多。
