优美的風景能够孕育我们对艺术的敏感性，这是我们以现代化的名义而放弃的东西。因此看到Joel Meyerowitz用彩色胶片拍摄的托斯卡纳四季与Maggie Barrett配写的文字时，蛮有感触，比如她談到一颗枝繁叶盛的橄榄树矗立在一片已被收割的土地上，仿若已过千年，也许，我们每个人都能以自己的存在为標識。 托斯卡纳的大地纹理，由空间、时间、光线、世俗的愿望、人类的耕耘、观看和情感所组成，它如一座大教堂。当它与夏日黄昏的阴影相遇，残留着的金色微光从小麦植杆深处照亮，或者当处冬天时，纯静的光线穿过浓雾，就像被粉碎的钻石般闪闪发光。 而想到童年我们与自然的接触，那种［belonging］令那些日子永远与我们同在。仿佛太阳把这记忆刻进我们肌肤里，现在要做的，就是再一次唤醒它，去感受生活的充实。
评分Beautiful. I've always loved Italy, loved Tuscany. So when I happened to catch a glimpse of the book in the library I took it out of the shelf and brought to my private reading room. As I looked through, my mind was filled with a misty layer of fog penetrated by sun rays, a smell of dry and sun-toasted straws, and a sense of tranquility.
