Carlie Stone lives in the small Iowa town of Yankton. As self-medicated Carlie tries to cope with the death of her parents and a brother in jail, the town is gripped with a series of grizzly murders. As the pieces of the puzzle come together, Carlie finds a horrible truth that has haunted her for years. While the police are baffled, Carlie is thrown into the middle of the investigation as a suspect. As the world crashes around her, Carlie tries to come to terms with her past and her present, desperately trying to become whole again.
