Robert Rick McCammon was a full-time horror writer for many years. Among his many popular novels were the classics Boy's Life and Swan Song. After taking a hiatus for his family, he returned to writing with an interest in historical fiction.The sixth book in his Matthew Corbett historical fiction series, Freedom of the Mask, was published in May 2016.His next novel, a standalone book called The Listener, was published in February 2018 by Cemetery Dance.His newest novel, Cardinal Black, is the seventh book in the Matthew Corbett series. 要我立刻说出三本最喜欢的书，大概是《银河英雄传说》、《千江有水千江月》和这本书吧。读这本600页的书毫不费力，而且很有所悟，读完后会觉得小说就是应该这样写的且会认为这书真不愧是最好的小说。其中会有不少的惊喜，比如理发店讲述的欧文的传奇，居然在抢夺唐尼的时候欧文...
