"Poem In Your Pocket Day" has been celebrated each April in New York City since 2002.Each year, venues burst with open readings of poems from pockets. Even the Mayor gets in on the festivities, reading a poem on the radio! Now it will be simple and fun to carry a poem in your pocket every day, not just during poetry month with "Poem in Your Pocket", published in conjunction with the Academy of American Poets.
