In The Book Of Funtastic Adventures, my two grandsons age eleven and nine as junior Jedi Knights have eleven crazy hilarious adventures. They often travelled with a robot space pilot called Moses to different planets and lands. At other times they visited strange places by other means. In their adventures they battle 'The One Eyed-One Horned- Flying Purple People Eater; visit Never Never Land, Narnia, Lilliput, Fairy Tale Land, Toad of Toad Hall, The Magic Faraway Tree, rescue Zorro, meet Super- Heroes, movie and cartoon characters. As their Grandfather, (Pop Pop) I purposely get muddled up with the stories and have the wrong characters often appearing in the wrong places. I sometimes have to come into the stories and sort out the mess that I have put my grandsons in. The Book of Funtastic Adventures begin as short stories told by Pop Pop to his grandsons Zion and Judah. The eleven imaginative stories are the fun and hilarious adventures of his two grandsons as junior Jedi Knights. They have adventures in space traveling in a spacecraft with Moses their robot Star Wars pilot. They also meet Peter Pan, Aslan, Toad of Toad Hall, Mary Poppins, Jack Sparrow, Batman, Spiderman, and other fictional characters.
Many of the adventures written in this book mention fictitious characters in the cartoon, book, music, and movie industry. They are not intended to depict the original characters. Those mentioned in this book are just parodies.
In the fantasy adventures book I have written, it also shows how young boys (my grandsons) struggle with sibling rivalry which depicts their character flaws, yet at the same time shows their boyish fantasy desires to be super heroes. After writing the book they asked, Pop Pop! Why do you have us arguing? Answer, Because you do!
