叶永青(1958- )出生于昆明，1982年毕业于四川美术学院绘画系，现任四川美术学院教授。曾在北京、上海、新加坡、英国伦敦、德国慕尼黑、德国奥格斯堡、美国西雅图等地举办个展。参与重要联展：1989年中国现代艺术大展；1991年中国当代艺术文献资料展；1992年“92中国油画艺术展”、广州“首届九十年代艺术双年展”；1993年香港、澳大利亚“后89中国新艺术展”；1994年北京“中国艺评家年度提名展”；1996年德国“中国！”、北京“首届学术邀请展”、“首届上海美术双年展”；2000年北京“20世纪中国油画大展”；2002 年广州“中国艺术三年展”；2003年北京“开放时代”展。作品被中国美术馆等艺术机构收藏。
