理查德·J. 埃文斯，英國曆史學傢，以19、20世紀德國史，尤其是第三帝國的研究享譽學界。曾任劍橋大學欽定曆史學講座教授、劍橋大學沃爾夫森學院院長。曾被授予漢堡藝術與科學奬，並憑學術成就獲封爵士。著有《企鵝歐洲史·競逐權力：1815—1914》《曆史與記憶中的第三帝國》等18本著作，其中《死於漢堡》獲沃爾夫森曆史奬。

陳壯，以色列巴伊蘭大學語言學在讀博士，四川外國語大學翻譯學碩士；2017年於格魯吉亞第比利斯國立大學訪學，學習格魯吉亞語；現主要從事形式語義學研究。曾參與翻譯《俄國革命史》、《禮與法：法的曆史連接》（From Rites to Law: A Historical Source of Chinese Law and Its Inheritance）等社科類讀物；現主要進行口譯工作。

趙丁，畢業於中國社會科學院研究生院世界曆史係，獲曆史學博士學位，研究方嚮為歐美近現代史。現為中國人民公安大學治安學院講師。

Finally finished the whole trilogy. At first, I thought there were too many details of Holocaust and racial atrocities, then during the whole time before I finished this book, I also read other books on similar topics, so at the end I learned that the reason Evans chose to include so detailed information is because the central focus of Nazi regime
