看過最讓人揪心的一本書，stevens的隱忍剋製內心糾纏，kenton的鮮明跳脫最終被時間衝淡。但最後一切畢竟都隻是去日留痕，隻能是緬懷著往日在自己選擇的道路上走下去，最後stevens畢竟還是帶上瞭professionalism and dignity的麵具
