一个个关于人或动物的小故事，温馨而又风趣，可以感受到作者对于生活细腻而又敏感的爱。虽然书中有些给动物做手术的情节，但却也一点都不血腥，我想这是源于作者出自内心的对自然动物的喜爱吧。很期待接着看其他万物有灵且美系列书籍。

刚看完第一页我就后悔的不得了，后悔为什么没有早早看到这本书。（在这里感谢abby）吉米哈利真是一个乡村兽医吗？而且还差一点当上皇家空军的飞行员，太不可思议了！他一定是书写的最好的乡村兽医，皇家空军里最好的乡村兽医，兽医里面最有爱心的作家。文字质朴，丝毫没有华丽...
