我最喜欢《大森林里的小木屋》里面描写景色的句子如：最后一场糖雪过后春天来了。栅栏附近的榛树上，鸟儿在刚长出新叶子的树丛里唱歌。草又变绿了，森林里开满野花到处都可以看到金凤花、紫罗兰、顶针花和小小的、星星般的草籽花。 文中通过罗兰爸妈进城互相买布的描写体现...  

《大森林里的小房子》和《大草原上的小房子》肯定算是儿童文学的异数。一般儿童读物强调和使用的想象力在这里无迹可寻，槐尔特的写作依靠的是她录像机式的惊人记忆力。（插一句，虽然槐尔特是3岁时生活在大森林里，书商却特意让她说成5岁，以免过于惊人的记忆力让读者怀疑故事...
