Parts I (Tour of Java), II (Algorithms and Building Blocks), and III (Applications) lay the groundwork by discussing basic concepts and tools and providing some practical examples, while Part IV (Implementations) focuses on implementation of data structures. 这本书的内容很基础，适合刚学习计算机的新人们--讲的很详细甚至有点啰嗦，但并没有涉及很复杂的知识，比如closure/scoping rules之类。例子也很充分，个人认为这本书的精华是3,4章涉及object-oriented的部分，成功的把我带出了functional programming的天坑
