One Saturday morning in February 1972, an impoundment dam owned by the Pittston Coal Company burst, sending a 130 million gallon, 25 foot tidal wave of water, sludge, and debris crashing into southern West Virginia's Buffalo Creek hollow. It was one of the deadliest floods in U.S. history. 125 people were killed instantly, more than 1,000 were injured, and over 4,000 were suddenly homeless. 在兩天之內迅速的看完瞭這本書，由此可見這本書的可讀性。給我留下印象最深的是，律師在麵對一個法律問題時專業的視角和態度。例如，在原告的選擇上，結閤實際的考慮（最大程度為原告著想），確保案件可以在聯邦法院進行審理，而不是靜如州法院，選擇皮茨頓公司而不是布法羅礦...
