其實應該是四星半

反派們各種想多瞭的那段很有趣。此外，Synapsifier處理後的老鼠走迷宮那部分，總讓我聯想到阿爾吉儂，從兩本書的寫作時間來看（Pebble寫於1947年，Flowers for Algernon寫於1958年），所以應該是Asimov啓發瞭Daniel Keyes？

這是我看的Asimov的第一本小說，因為想要按照他書寫的順序看，所以從這本開始。畢竟他那二十幾部小說所描繪的Galactic Empire是一篇巨幅的史詩，單獨一本必然沒有那麼宏大的感覺，一定要全部融閤在一起。這本的開頭看著很普通，突然穿越到陌生的世界，細節寫得很多，或許有的人覺得囉嗦會中途放棄。不過堅持過半之後，後麵會有小高潮，閱讀也越來越順暢。基本算是給大傢一個籠統的overview。跟著作者構思的路程來看應該會是很有趣的過程吧。

讀之前期待太高瞭，讀完後反而覺得比較一般：算是披著科幻的皮講種族歧視還有科學學說和ideology之間的故事。
