在音韻的處理上，坡深入挖掘瞭英語在詩學上的潛力，大量使用瞭頭韻、內韻和諧韻，對近似音走瞭精細而超常的排列。每一節中。都有一係列的短句構成長行，這樣連續不斷拍成流水行，隻在行見換氣。極忠實的錶現瞭敘述者低徊哀婉的語氣，讀起來如一步三嘆！

可以說《烏鴉》全篇字字珠璣，行行如哥，音韻處理上堪與唐詩《琵琶行》媲美。
