凡人失去挚爱，从而去追求不朽，不断努力却一无所获。amazon上买家评论说，故事很棒，只是有点too dark, 担心the tragedy would be too weighty for the kids。不由脑补出小孩子听到伤心处哇哇大哭的情境。不过也许能听到这样的故事的童年才是幸福的吧。故事的最后，吉尔伽美什懂得做一个好人被历史记住才是真正的不朽，这样的道理让大人也为之默然。
