After graduating Fordham University in 1954, Robert Picariello deferred his career in writing to join the family business. In the early 1990s, however, events in Rwanda, Bosnia and Haiti inspired him to put pen to paper. Realizing that no organization or government on Earth is effective in quelling the suffering of mankind, he awarded the task to the human civilization of a distant planet. The people from Cerberus discovered Earth 1600 years before the birth of Christ. Their observations revealed that the moral fiber of Earthlings was decaying rapidly, and they predicted that Earthas civilization would spiral into a holocaust by the year 2050. Filled with compassion for the welfare of their fellow humans, Cerberusas government dispatched an expedition consisting of four talented educators. Their mission was explicit: prevent Earthas impending Armageddon by breeding a third generation of Earthlings they could train to become the guardians of Earth. In the early 2000s, the great-grandchildren of those alien educators form a federation devoted to protecting innocents and destroying evildoers. Led by William Falcone, the most gifted of all the descendants, this small band of twenty-first-century knights participate in a series of action-packed adventures as they struggle to fulfill their mandate.
