One of the most successful series of volumes that was published by OPC was the quartet of books covering the wagons operated by the three constituent parts of the Southern Railway and by the Southern Railway itself. The first two volumes, covering the LSWR and LBSCR were published in the early 1980s and both have been reprinted. The final two volumes, on the SECR and SR, were published after Ian Allan Publishing acquired the OPC imprint.
