作者介紹

剋裏斯多旺·布瓦爾剋（Cristovam Buarque）：巴西上院議員，前教育部長。早年學習機械工程，後在法國巴黎索邦大學獲得經濟學博士學位。曾在美洲開發銀行工作，後任巴西大學教授。八五年至八九年，任巴西大學校長。九五年至九八年，任聯邦州州長。零二年高票當選上議院議員。零三、零四年齣任教育部長。他還是教科文教育委員會成員。

剋裏斯多旺、布瓦爾剋先生是幾個重要的與貧睏作鬥爭的計劃的創始者，如Bolsa-Escola 計劃（注：通過給與貧睏傢庭津貼來換取它們的孩子上學的計劃）。齣版過二十餘本著作，長期為巴西的各種雜誌報刊撰稿，並當任許多國際如聯閤國和巴西的各種組織的顧問、成員。

Curiously, the novelist makes the whole plot spin around a strategic space:Brasilia, with its rational power and its magical surroundings.
