It is 2095 and the war is over. The planet is scorched and all but destroyed. A population topping six billion has dwindled to less than a million. A small group of survivors has banded together. They wander on foot seeking a place to eke out an existence, a place to call home. They find a pristine, seemingly untouched valley and settle there, but the valley holds a secret. Over 150 years later, the descendants of those refugees have grown into the established village of Hopewell. Life in the village is simplistic and hard but everyone works together as a community. The valley still holds a secret. Tia, a member of the council, knows about the secret though she has never seen it. An outspoken woman, she decides she wants to know more and wants everyone else to know, too. With the help of Thomas, they decide to investigate and a decision is made. That decision could alter everyoneas lives drastically. It could enhance their lives forever or it could destroy them all.
