From the time they could talk, twins Jim and Jack Allen tracked all their food and learned to shoot and hit any target. Ragged, freckle-faced loner Jim becomes a fugitive and, on occasion, a terrifying killer called the "White Wolf" - but Jack loves law, and is soon the most feared sheriff in Wyoming. Around the town of Basin, ranchers are losing horses to rustlers, and men are being murdered. They call Jack Allen to eliminate the predators, but Jim assumes Jack's identity - and the White Wolf becomes Basin's sheriff. Jack vows to help Jim - but will he let his brother go free so they can catch their prey together?
