Many contemporary political thinkers are gripped by the belief that their task is to develop an ideal theory of rights or justice for guiding and judging political actions. 结尾高潮：Power, Power, Power！强调权力分配、优先选择、时机把握和合法性构建，认为脱离政治现实、语境和情境的政治分析只有作为意识形态的分析意义，本身离表达政治社会实质相去甚远；延续之前在《政治中的历史与幻觉》的路子，破除对权利、公平、平等的成见；敲打诺齐克只是为了爆锤罗尔斯做准备。所谓的“现实感”，大概就是这个意思？

在为数不多的样本中，迄今还没见到读完之后不喜欢Geuss作品的中国人。如果这个观察是正确的，那么，这究竟是因为Geuss写得好、还是因为国人的倾向与口味使大家易于偏爱Geuss，这也许和Geuss的作品同样有意思。
