读研一时公法老师推荐的教材。出国前读过一遍，当时读的好费劲。最近，又拿出来读了读，相比Brownlie那本大砖头，这本的确student－friendly。当然，对公法感兴趣，还是应该读Brownlie的，Crawford2012年更新的Brownlie's principles，比Brownlie老先生的版本更加reader－friendly。最近在读，很多更新的东西，收获很多。

作为一本国际公法入门读物来说已经相当不错了，1999年第二版，年代相对来说比较久远，写的比较通俗易懂，案例翔实，介绍了很多国际公法里的经典条约和案例，案例具体内容没有讲很多，但是给读者起到了一个指引作用，配合自己查阅资料，能对国际公法基本概念和主流观点有基本了解。
