這是一本很厚重的精裝書，彩頁，較大看起來舒適的字體。比起王受之叢書，我已經被本書的排版者感動得又相信愛情瞭。 盡管如此，我依然得推薦和王受之《世界平麵設計史》一起看。因為，這本書給我的感覺是很嚴謹的學術書籍，有些設計案例背後的故事一筆帶過，多是論點論證。而...

本來是相當不錯的設計史書，可惜譯得太差。譯者很顯然英語水平非常有限，在“妙”手擅改原著方麵，可以跟王受之“名著”的“妙”手抄書的能力不相上下——都是錯漏百齣，慘不忍睹。但我還是願意嚮譯者錶示一定的敬意，因為跟王受之的抄襲相比，譯者好歹老老實實地跟人傢要瞭版...
