鮑里斯•阿庫寧（Boris Akunin）

本名為格利高里•契哈爾契許維里（Grigory Chkhartishvillihas），1956年出生於前蘇聯的格魯吉亞共和國。他是日本學家，筆名「阿庫寧」即取自日文「惡人」之音譯，曾翻譯過三島由紀夫等作家的多本作品﹔曾任俄國的《外國文學》雜誌副總編輯。1998年，出版第一本偵探小說，最初的動機是要讓老婆在搭地鐵讀小說的時候，讀些既有深度又引人入勝的通俗文學作品，沒想到大受歡迎，在幾年內陸續出版了十來本（暢銷數百萬本），迅速成為俄羅斯書市的新寵。阿庫寧的小說情節相當迷人，內容亦具深度，不僅吸引一般大眾讀者，也讓知識份子叫好。阿庫寧創作的偵探小說，分成三個系列，第一個為方多林系列，目前有十一部，另兩系列為珮拉姬婭系列及尼可拉斯系列。

其他作品有《給白痴的童話》，以及將契訶夫的劇作《海鷗》改編成喜劇版的《海鷗》。
