James kisses his children goodbye one morning. He steps off of his front porch, not realizing that in a few hours he may never see them alive again. A freak accident leaves him and a complete stranger stranded along a deserted road. Together they are plunged into a fight for survival as the world is gripped by an apocalyptic catastrophe like nothing theyad ever imagined possible. The streets have become a war zone as a majority of the population runs rampant like a hoard of zombies intent on slaughtering all survivors. Miles from his children and uncertain about their fate, he and his newfound companion, Nora, fight to survive the horrors that befall them. Forced into several unexpected and gruesome detours on his road home, time begins to run out, and James must rely on the one thing head lost since his wife passed away: faith.
