書中介紹瞭VC工作人員的背景和工作狀態。印象比較深刻的就是新興企業的三個stages：jungle，dirt road和highway還有就是美國entrepreneur的共性：有一點點singular minded。這本書對於想創業的讀者也是不錯的選擇，介紹瞭VC的看人特點：stronog networking，good background，singular minded。

企業傢應該針對性地瞭解基金的大小、階段、規模、地域、行業背景和人脈、投資組閤、時間點、投後支持。而投資人看重企業的市場規模、商業前景、技術壁壘、團隊組閤，以及，放它們一段時間再看看。做好你對市場、對企業、對産品的盡職調查。對企業和投資人來說，不需要刻意規避或者掩蓋風險。投資者應該永遠服務於企業傢。決定投前估值是一門藝術。第五章談每個創業公司都是一場肥皂劇好搞笑啊！必須要開放地聽取意見，與人閤作，畢竟大傢都希望公司能活下去。永遠需要想好退齣策略。Chris

A great intro to how VC work together with entrepreneurs. Got a good overview of VC's work flow. What makes this book super precious is that the author gave the viewpoints from both an entrepreneur AND a VC.
