評分 評分500頁，實打實的，沒有多餘的序啊跋啊之類的東西。 《隱之書》，是被封麵和名字吸引的。封麵質感很好，大大的書櫥，古典的書房，暗暗的，有些幽秘，卻激發起我一探究竟的欲望。隱，隱晦隱秘隱藏隱匿，那般神秘。 打開來，發現這本書很不好讀啊，都是人名都是典故，還有通篇長長...

掉書袋的偵探愛情故事，看完意猶未盡，隻是結尾巧閤太多有點落入俗套。另外，這一版的字印得實在太小，不推薦購買此版本。

评分拜厄特用瞭兩個夏天完成這本書，她已經構思十五年瞭。最先確定的是書名，靈感來自Coleridge和研究他的Kathleen Coburn，想著她把一生都獻給瞭這個死人。她最先要的是死者與活人、研究者與詩人、性的連接。又放棄不掉學院的部份，又決意仿照Eco玫瑰的名字，把維多利亞時代召喚迴來，再加入多蘿西的偵探寫法。於是通俗和遺世獨立、世俗和性靈混雜在一起，反而對立著把那魂牽夢縈的東西降調瞭，接榫處處理得並不好，學院其他人物形象過於通俗，最後開墓的部份甚至有點鬧劇的意味。放掉瞭女性之間更深層的微妙，但確實留下瞭魂牽夢縈如夢似幻的東西。如果是atwood寫，會更流暢文體更繁多絢麗，但會失去拜厄特的生澀。如果是PF來寫，會減掉三分之二篇幅，但保留遺世獨立的氣質。如果是門羅來寫，嗯，她會換個切入點。
