上百家美国媒体报道过理查德·沃尔特和他富有传奇色彩的影视写作课程，作为评论专家，他还活跃在《今日秀》《ABC黄金时间》《CBS新闻》等电视及电台节目中。

假装去UCLA听课系列。教授的用词就是广，与同类型比起来这本算比较难啃的。读之前对教授印象最深的是批评科恩兄弟和PTA，书里倒还挺平和的，感觉的到都是肺腑之言。写戏最重要不能无聊，好编剧一定得对得起观众的时间
