戶外旅行的佳作，處處透著睿智、幽默、犀利以及驚人的博學，從阿巴拉契亞小道延伸開去，堪稱美國近代自然史的小百科。可惜翻譯實在不敢恭維，語句近乎直譯，生硬拗口，有些句子又長又彆扭讓人差點一口氣提不上來，還有錯彆字，糟蹋瞭一本好書。接力齣版社，望再接再厲。
