其实是很不容易读的一本书作者太爱画外音内心戏旁白吐槽有点annoying and it gets super distracted semi-open ending we've tried and failed and tried and failed so many times that eventually there is nothing left for us but just to try again

第一本在metro north上读完的小说。开头说columbus circle马车和汽车相撞还蛮直指人心的。每个对话回合后的心理吐槽句真是炉火纯青地好啊

最后三十页完全jaw dropping。我觉得比the hours还要出色。无论怎么抗争，我们是不是都无法逃离生活的平庸本质，就算短暂地脱离，最后还是只能回到原本的轨道上。
