精读部分好，注释详尽。

泛读以自娱，精读以精进。

风格独特，学问扎实。 其实那年一出版就买来看了…… 又看了一部分之前陆老散文课用的无注早期版本，选篇有不少差别。

妈的刚看foreword就被吓尿了啊！！！

最喜欢Joan Didion's On the Morning after the Sixties。Thinking as Hobby也很有趣。不喜欢斯蒂芬金的腔调，劳伦斯和福斯特倒颇对胃口。对Bill Bryson的评点时说到American humor unlike cerebral British humor,is oftentimes associated with bodily functions and even scatological descriptions——这里的scatology is also known as coprology：粪便化石学！有几篇没读。
