確實涉及瞭很多底層的概念和源碼，但是多少有些代碼堆砌，原理講述偏少。另外，此書難度挺大，需要較長時間和耐心，可作為工具參考書。 類似的教科書 Unix 環境編程還是質量更高。

很好地補充瞭《Mac OS X Internals》後這6年的發展，尤其是新加入的iOS部分極具價值，作者真NB，怎麼可以知道得那麼多。。。主要看瞭Part I，很多之前感興趣的問題都找到瞭解答，但Part II實在太詳細瞭，以後有空再讀
