福赛思往往喜欢把书中的年份放在成书时的2-3年以后，造成的后果是此时苏联已经解体了。

《谈判专家》上半部分是谈判，下半部分是追凶。在阅读的过程中，我就不断感叹，这小说简直就是属于适合翻拍成电影的小说的范本，洋洋三十多万字，情节紧凑，多线叙事并行却不混乱，主角奎恩是典型的福赛斯式主角，孤独、冷酷、独行、果断，极具角色魅力。不多说了，强烈推荐就是。

即使贵为万王之王，在丑恶的政治利益前，也会轻易受到伤害。此版本翻译差强人意。

意思不大，和他的前期作品比起来差距明显。好莱坞的气息明显多了起来。
