有意思的是比较了各个国家对xx队长的不同呈现，并把Nationalist superhero 作为一种亚类型来考察。第六章对geopolitical order的讨论还蛮有趣，算是对Neil Smith理论的无缝嫁接吧。不过大部分论述都很冗赘，甚至读到最后让人开始质疑“nationalist superhero”概念的提出的必要性，特别是当他开启对身体-政治的讨论却又止步于三件套（种族、阶级、性别），强调co-constitutive却是在重申“reflection”。因此，这本书最后仍是对那个被回答过千万遍的结构主义的问题—-“de-historicize/clear references”—-的重复讨论。
